Viewing Consolidated History

You can view all the history of changes for a device identification object and its related items in the Consolidated History category. The related items include product, model, product line, package product, contact, market authorization, and storage condition.

Important: This app stores personal data in some settings. To follow good personal data management practices, Business Administrators might need to edit these settings to remove personal data, such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers.

  1. From the Device Identification(DI) homepage, click a device identification object.
    The device identification object opens in a new page.
  2. From the category section, click Consolidated History.
    Under the Consolidated History tab, you can view the following columns:
    Column NameDescription
    NameName of the object.
    DateThe time stamp details when the change occurred. The date is as per the server time zone.
    UserName of the user.
    ActionThe type of activity performed on the item.
    StateThe state of the item when the action occurred.
    DescriptionThe details about the specific items involved in the action.
  3. Select a DI object or a related item, and expand it.
    You can view all the history of the DI object or the related item.

    You cannot modify or delete the history.

  4. To filter specific history, do one of the following.
    • In the page toolbar, type the required text in the filter text box, and click Filter.
    • In the page toolbar, select an action from the drop down list, and click Filter.

      The actions given in the list are Create, Change Owner, Connect, Modify, Add Interface,Change Project, Change Organization, and Promote.

  5. From the filtered list, expand a DI object or a related item.
    Only the history that has the given text or the chosen action is displayed.
