Results Dialog Box

The Results dialog box appears when you select Automatic Positioner Programming and select a task or robot.

This dialog box contains controls for managing tags, joints and alignment when programming positioners.

General

Operation
Operation is read-only and displays the name of the operation.
Tag
Tag is read-only and displays the type of tag for the operation. It can be set to Start weld, Weld, End weld, Approach, Depart and Via.
Joint.1/Joint.2

Joint.1 and Joint.2 display the joint values of a positioner before and after auto-programming. You can enter values directly by clicking on the corresponding cell.

Alignment

Alignment displays the active alignment type. Since different sections of a task can require a different types of alignment, you can hold the Ctrl key to select multiple operations, then click on a corresponding cell and select the alignment type from the list.

Joints

Joints displays the joints that are used in the positioner programming calculations. When clicked, the list displayed is based on the number of positioner joints.

  • None: no calculations take place
  • Joint.x: use Joint.x in calculations
  • Set...: used in cases when both joints are to be used in calculations, or when a positioner has more than two joints and you need to select two joints to be used in calculations. When this option is selected, the Joints dialog box is displayed.

    Toggle which joints will be used (On) or not used (Off) in calculations by clicking on the value. Once the selection is completed, close the Joints dialog box to apply the calculations.

Status
Status is read-only and displays the reach status for each operation.
