Reconciling Uploaded Arc Welding and Sealant Programs

Uploaded arc welding and sealant programs create arc welding/sealant trajectories and tasks. However, the trajectories created are not connected with process planning.

Before you begin: You are using a sealant process planning dataset with an uploaded sealant trajectory.
  1. From the Arc section of the action bar, click Reconcile Arc Trajectory .

    The Reconcile Arc Trajectory appears. Arc trajectories and curve operations are listed based on the currently selected Context.

    If a sealant trajectory is already linked to a process trajectory, it is highlighted in green. If a sealant trajectory is not already linked to a process trajectory, a curve operation is suggested based on the proximity of the start point of the bead fastener implemented by the curve operation and the arc start point of the sealant trajectory.

  2. Select a trajectory from the Resource Trajectory list.
    The selected trajectory is highlighted in the work area.
  3. For each trajectory in the Resource Trajectory list, assign the required curve operation or process trajectory by selecting an entry from the Process Trajectory/Curve Operation list.
  4. Click OK.
    Any necessary process trajectories are created and reconciled. A status message indicates the results of the reconciliation.
