Updating Arc Tasks

You can automatically update a robot task after tags have been added or removed from an arc or seam search trajectory during the session.


Before you begin: You have a robot task created from an arc or seam search trajectory, and tags have been added or removed after the task was created.
  1. From the Arc section of the action bar, click Update Arc Operations .
    You are prompted to select a robot task.
  2. Select a robot task.
    The Arc Task Update panel appears.
    • If the selected task was out of date, Arc Task Update informs you that the task has been updated and provides a list of the affected operations.
    • If tags have not been added or removed, but only location or parameter changes have been made, Arc Task Update informs you that the task is already up-to-date.
    • If you edit an arc trajectory via Create/Edit Arc Trajectory that has tags associated to operations in a task, a Warning panel prompts you to update the associated task upon clicking OK. Click Yes to update the task as described above, or click No to decline. If you click No, the links from arc operations to approach, depart, and weld tags are recalculated such that the index of operations matches the index of tags in the trajectory.
