About Provide Fabrication Parameters and Different Cutting Lengths

This provides enhanced profile cutting length and XML by considering profile flange and web angle.

The following topics discuss:

This page discusses:

Angle of Profile Flange and Web

  • Angle Values - To support the profile fabrication with various shapes, angle values for the flange of a profile start and end faces before end cut apply. The web of themselves provide the profile content of the XML. The candidate of angles values display;

    The angle value of each extremity web and flange displays as the annotations as the same as the end cut one.

    If an End Cut exists, the values append to the same annotations.

    Start: WebAngle:45deg, FlangeAngle: 45 deg

  • XML Extraction - When created, these angle values is extracted to XML. Limits node under DesignData node in the XML is created and has Start and End node to provide the WebAngle and FlangeAngle values.

Profile Cutting Length

  • Cutting Length - In the case if the Zero point is not specify, this provides an enhanced cutting length between the profile solid extremities considering the web and flange angle. In the case that Zero point specifies for one side of the profile ends, the solid extremity of the side considers this to compute the cutting length.

  • Opening Distance - In a case where the Zero point is not specified for the start, the Opening distance is calculated from the profile extremity.

  • XML Extraction - In a case where the Zero point is not specified, a FabricationOrigin node is provided for the new cutting length and profile extremities.

    Profile Extremity - This provides the extremities of a profile start and end for the cutting length computation.
