The collision detection calculates between the active hand (that color is green) and the selected (highlighted) objects. By selecting specific phalanges or by selecting complete fingers, that are thumb selection, these selections remain unmoved, as they appear to enter into a collision with themselves. The net result considers that every segment in green is for the motion, whereas every object highlighted does not move. Right Fingers
