Using Copy Posture from CATIA Human

A DELMIA Manikin can be created with a posture that is similar to CATIA Human in the tree This is available if a CATIA Human Design License is available..

  1. Click Copy Posture From CATIA Human from the Posture action bar.
  2. Select the CATIA Human.
    The panel appears and displays the anthropometric value corresponding to height.

    By default the population selected is American. Select the different populations with the list menu (American, Canadian, French, Japanese, Korean, American Civilian, German, Indian).

    Based on the gender of the CATIA Human the gender select the panel. The height of CATIA Human considers to compute the anthropometric variable for stature that populates in the panel and this field is not available to edit. You can edit after the creation of the DELMIA Manikin.

    Note: The available anthropometry values are 5, 50 and 95 percentile for the manikin. The stature value closest to the height of CATIA Human instantiates.

    The selection made in the Referential option uses as invariant as far as the position between the two Humans, Example, CATIA Human and DELMIA Manikin. Change from the list menu of H Point, Left Foot, Right Foot, Right Hand, Left Hand, and Eye Point.

  3. Click OK.

    DELMIA Manikin with the posture that is similar to the CATIA Human creates in the tree.

    You could also select DELMIA Manikin first then select the CATIA Human. This scenario the population field is not available (grayed out) for modifications as the population of selected DELMIA Manikin applies. The same is the case for other variables. The referential is the point on DELMIA Manikin that uses matching with the closest position of the selected point on CATIA Human. Use this scenario when a new DELMIA Manikin is not available yet for all other use cases, then a new manikin gets created. The posture applies on the selected DELMIA Manikin.
