Using Keep Free Arm Down

You can use the Keep Free Arm Down when you need to simulate the effect of gravity on the arms when manipulating the manikin.

Before you begin: Have a manikin in your scenario.
  1. Click the Manikin's hand.
  2. Click Bend in the Add Motions section and move the hand.
The manikin leans over and the other arm stays alongside the body.

  3. Click Keep Free Arm Down , and move the manikin's hand.
The other arm drops toward the floor.

If an arm has a constraint (represented by the green star), it respects the constraint. Only the arm without the constraint drops toward the floor under the effect of gravity.
