Mill-Turn Machining

Mill-Turn Machining enables you to easily program a turning and mill-turn machine to produce 3D parts requiring advanced turning and mill-turn operations. This fits the needs of Fabrication and Assembly industry, as well as all industries where mill-turn machining and turning are involved. This guide is intended for users who need to become quickly familiar with Mill-Turn Machining.

A user interface based on graphic dialog boxes enables you to rapidly define tool paths. You can easily create tools and integrate them into tool catalogs. Your tool paths can be generated, simulated, and analyzed. With this app, the whole manufacturing process is covered, thanks to an integrated postprocessor execution engine. From tool path definition to NC data generation, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Define turning, drilling, and milling Machining Operations
  • Define machine slide for turrets and spindles
  • Manage local information
  • Synchronize Machining Operations for multi-turret machines
  • Generate NC data output
  • Follow turning and balance turning operations
  • Customize the display of spindles associated with Machining Operations in the Activities tree and in the Synchronization wizard.
