NC Features
Make sure to select Duplicate geometry links in
before copying and pasting NC features. If not, only NC activities and resources
are copied.
All the NC features are copied with the activities which
reference them. Machining Patterns, Machinable Area Features,
Machining Features are copied. Features are copied only if they are
used by operations.
NC Resources
The resource is in the original Process document:
- If the resource does not exist in the target document, it is copied
in the resource list.
- If the resource exists in the target document (same attributes), no
copy is done and the existing resource is used.
Cut/Copy and Paste Machining Items Within the Same Process
- Copy an Operation Using Cut/Copy and Paste
- When you copy an operation from a manufacturing program A to a manufacturing program B: the tools remain assigned to the copied operation only if the turret holding the tools in the manufacturing program B is the same than in the manufacturing program A.
- Copy a Tool Using Cut/Copy and Paste
- If you copy and paste a tool in the same machining process, both the copied and pasted tools will share the same reference. Any reference parameters you edit on one of the tools using Edit NC Resource will also modify the reference parameters on the other tool.
