Double-click the Part Operation in the Activities Process
Tree.

In the Setup
tab, associate the Design
Part and Stock to the Part Operation.

In the Options
tab, select Activate the
Intermediate Stock check box.

Click OK to validate and exit the dialog
box.

In the Activities Process
Tree, right-click a Machining Operation (in our example, Rough Turning). In the context menu:
- Either select .
Note:
This item is available for the axial machining,
prismatic machining, and turning machining operations (For all Machining Operations that take in account the intermediate stock in the tool path
computation). When activated, the machining operation does not take the input intermediate stock into account while
computing the tool path.
- Or select .
Note:
This menu item deactivates the computation of the
output intermediate stock in the selected Machining Operation. The input stock of the following Machining Operation is the same as for the selected Machining Operation (No update with the selected Machining Operation).
Note:
The two options are independent. You can ignore the input stock and still
compute the output stock or the other way round or disable both.

Double-click the Machining Operation.
