Customizing Preferences

You can customize preferences for all machining apps.

  1. From the top bar, select Me > Preferences, and then click the App Preferences tab.
  2. In the left-hand pane, expand Simulation, and then Additive Manufacturing Apps Common Services.
  3. Select Material Deposition Fabrication.
  4. In the right-hand pane, expand the section corresponding to the options to be customized.

    Section Description
    General Customize general settings for all machining apps.
    Resources Customize tools, feeds and speeds, and resource files.
    Operation Customize machining operations.
    Output Customize MyPost files and NC data output.
    Material Deposition/Removal Customize material removal simulation.
    Simulation Customize machine tool simulation.

  5. Specify these options according to your needs.
