Analyzing Shortages Over Time

Enables you to analyze and confirm planning periods.

Before you begin: Make sure you have access to the Master Production Planner role.
  1. Click Material Planning Overview in the Analyze action bar.
  2. In the Gantt chart Material Planning Chart, zoom out.
    You can view all relevant planning periods
  3. Select the Legends list accessible on the Action bar.
    An overview of the defined color schemes appears.
  4. Hover over a period to view a tooltip.
    The tooltip reveals supporting details about inventory targets for the period.
  5. Press Full screen to maximize Material Planning Overview.
  6. Zoom the Calendar back to expand the nodes to view the inventory level values.

    Note: Click on nodes to investigate underlying details of planned supplies and demands.
