- Double-click the Manufacturing Program in the Activities tree.
- Select the NC Code Based Simulation checkbox in the dialog box that appears.
Define work offset becomes available. - Click Define work offset .
The Define Work Offsets dialog box appears. - Click New to define a work offset.
The Work Offset Editor dialog box appears. - Specify Work Offset Name, DOF Values, and initialize value of axes from Machining Axis System .
For mill-turn machines, select the spindle from
the Device List and specify the axis values for spindle and
turret. Note:
The rotary DOF value for the spindle must be computed based on the current machining axis and reference machining axis.
- Click OK to create a work offset.
The defined work offset appears in Define Work Offsets dialog box. - Click Modify to modify an existing work offset in Work Offset Editor dialog box.
- Click Delete to delete the selected work offset.
- Run NC Code Simulation.
The Simulation Info dialog box displays the defined work offset during simulation.
