Creating a Drilling and Riveting Operation

In this step, you will create a drilling and riveting operation based on an instruction set.

  1. From the Drilling Riveting section of the action bar, click Drilling Riveting .
  2. In the Activities Process Tree, select Machine Instruction 2 and in the Manufacturing View, select the manufacturing pattern.
  3. In the context toolbar that appears, click Define Fastening Instruction Set and select an instruction set.
  4. In the context toolbar, click OK .
    The operation appears in the Activities Process Tree, under the manufacturing program.
