Editing the Instruction Set

In this step, you will edit the instruction set of the manufacturing fasteners to avoid clashes between the anvil and product.

Click Play to watch the video:

  1. In the Activities Process Tree, double-click the drilling and riveting operation.
    The manufacturing pattern is highlighted in the work area.
  2. Select a fastener where a clash is located and in the context toolbar that appears, click Edit instruction set of selected position(s) .
  3. Change the anvil angle, for example to -60 degrees, and click Update Machine position to see the result in the work area.
  4. In the same way, change the other anvil angles where clashes are located.
  5. Start the simulation again to check that there are no clashes.
