Setup Section

The Setup section provides commands for defining your manufacturing environment.

This page discusses:



Insert Capable Resources
Inserts resources such as machines and build tray in the manufacturing cell.


Synchronize Data with Planning
Generates a manufacturing product according to the process planning, containing items such as a machine, accessories, or a part.
Select the manufacturing cell and in the dialog box that appears, select the item to import. Then click OK.
Process Reuse
Reuses an existing process.
Choose the elements to import and search the PPR to reuse.


Create Machine

Create Build Tray
See Flyout for Creating a Build Tray.
Search Powder
Searches a powder in the database or selects one in the tree.


Build Layout
Positions the parts on the build tray.
In the dialog box that appears, select a set of layout rules or create new ones. Then generate automatically or manually the position of the parts.

Labeling
Manage labels on parts positioned on the build tray.
Create and manage labels on selected surfaces, or on a part to produce following a specific rule. Then, apply it onto all positioned parts.

Protective Case
Create and manage protective case.
Create and manage protective case on parts positioned on the build tray.

Create Machine
Creates a new generic machine or select a machine in the library.
In the dialog box that appears, define its parameters and click OK.

Search Machine
Searches in database or selects a machine in the tree.
