Applying Time or Product Flow Constraints

You can use the Product Build-Up preferences to simulate a selected system or operation according to time or product flow constraints.

The following task illustrate the case of a selected operation.

Apply Time Constraints

You can simulate a selected operation according to time constraints.

  1. In the Compute next and previous step section, select the Time constraints option.
  2. In the tab, click OK.
  3. Press F3 to display the tree.
  4. In the tree, select an operation.
  5. In the Compass, click Play to simulate the operation according to time constraints.
  6. In the Experience Player, select Play Step Forward to simulate the next step according to time constraints.

Apply Product Flow Constraints

You can simulate a selected operation according to product flow constraints.

  1. In the Compute next and previous step section, select the Product flow constraints option.
  2. In the tab, click OK.
  3. Press F3 to display the tree.
  4. In the tree, select an operation.
  5. In the Compass, click Play to simulate the operation according to product flow constraints.
  6. In the Experience Player, select Play Step Forward to simulate the next step according to product flow constraints.
