Editing Display Mode

You can display the implemented products and resulting product of a selected item in the 3D View panel.

Before you begin: Select Me > Preferences > App Preferences > Simulation > Digital Manufacturing Apps Common Services > Simulation and Planning Apps Common Services > Product Build Up.

To display the Product Build-Up Options panel, click Product Build-Up options at the right edge of the work area. If the Product Build-Up options icon is not displayed, you need to open the 3D View panel first. For more information, see 3D View.

  1. In the Product Build-Up tab, set the Display Mode option to Design product.
  2. In the tab, click OK.
  3. Press F3 to display the tree.
  4. In the tree, select an item.
    The products implemented by the item are displayed in the 3D View panel (if any). Otherwise, the geometry retrieved by the predecessors is displayed.
  5. In the Product Build-Up tab, set the Display Mode option to Displays Resulting Product in build-up.
  6. In the tab, click OK.

The resulting product set on the item is displayed in the 3D View panel (if any). Otherwise, the products implemented by the item are displayed (if any). Otherwise, the geometry retrieved by the predecessors is displayed.
