Assigning Resources Using Managing Capable Resources

You can assign capable resources to manufactured assemblies or machines.

  1. From the Authoring section of the action bar, click Manage Capable Resources .
  2. Select the root-manufacturing assembly part.
    The Manage Capable Resources dialog box appears.
  3. In Search, type prd:Machine* to select Machines that are available.
    The search window appears with the machines.
  4. In the Manage Capable Resources dialog box, select Add Resource.
  5. Click the required machines, then the required parts to manage.
    When each is selected, a Resource Assignment successful message window appears.
