Creating an Alignment Line Feature

You can use this to define Alignment Line features, in the user mode to represent the HVAC Piece alignment.

  1. Start the Alignment Line Feature Creation command.
  2. Select a connection/weld feature.
  3. Select one of the connected faces by the connection/weld at step 2.
  4. Define the default length and offset of alignment lines.
  5. Click OK.
  6. If the AlignmentLine_PRD creates, then create a power copy using the feature creates under the result.
  7. Add the power copy to the Feature Catalog.
