General
- Name
- The name of the current profile.
- Index
- You can optionally enter an index number for the current profile for use with Robot Programming. Positive
integer values or zero are valid.
 By default, this value is unset.
- List of brushes
- Lists the brushes that are associated with the robot. All parameters in the different tab pages are specific to the selected brush in the current profile.
Click + to add a new brush, or - to delete the current brush.
Paint tab- Brush color
- The color of the selected brush.
- Brush state
- When enabled, paint is dispatched from the current brush. Otherwise, no paint is dispatched.
- Deposition type
- Determines whether paint is deposited via Air nozzle or Electrostatic rotating bell.
- Simulation parameters
- Flow rate
- Specifies the amount of paint dispatched for a given time period.
- Percentage of solids
- Specifies the percentage of the total paint volume that is due to paint solids.
- Gun transfer efficiency
- Defines the percentage of sprayed paint solids will adhere to a surface. This value overrides the transfer efficiency computed during the calibration.
- Disk rotation speed
- Simulation current speed of rotation for the bell cup atomizer. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Air volume regulation
- Simulation current flow rate of the shaping air in the ERB paint gun. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type.
- Air pressure regulation
- Simulation current pressure of the shaping air. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Voltage
- Electrostatic voltage applied to the ERB paint gun at the current simulation time. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Cone dimension
- Range
- The distance from the nozzle beyond which the paint will not adhere to the surface.
- Width
- The width of the base of the cone. Associated to the film build deposition along the Y axis defined in Calibration tab.
- Length
- The length of the base of the cone. Associated to the film build deposition along the X axis defined in the Calibration tab.
Position tab- From
- The tool profile from which the position and orientation of the brush is relative to.
By default, the position and orientation is relative to the mount port. - Coordinates
- X
- The X offset of the brush from the selected tool profile.
- Y
- The Y offset of the brush from the selected tool profile.
- Z
- The Z offset of the brush from the selected tool profile.
- Yaw
- The yaw offset of the brush from the selected tool profile.
- Pitch
- The pitch offset of the brush from the selected tool profile.
- Roll
- The roll offset of the brush from the selected tool profile.
Calibration tab- Experiment parameters
- TCP speed
- The speed at which the TCP is traveling during the experiment.
- Test target distance
- The distance between the gun nozzle and the surface being painted during the experiment.
- Test fluid flow rate
- The rate of the fluid flow through the nozzle during the experiment.
- Test % solids
- Percentage of total paint volume that is due to paint solids during the experiment.
- Spray delay ON
- The time taken for the gun to start spraying after it is turned ON.
- Spray delay OFF
- The time taken for the gun to stop spraying after it is turned OFF.
- Test disk rotation speed
- Rotation speed for the bell cup disk atomizer during experiment. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Test disk speed shaping factor
- Factor to control extent of spray width increase due to increase in disk rotation speed. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Test air volume regulation
- Flow rate of the shaping regulation air during experiment. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Test air volume shaping factor
- Factor to control extent of spray width decrease due to increase in regulation air volume. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Test air pressure regulation
- Pressure of the shaping regulation air during experiment. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Test air pressure shaping factor
- Factor to control extent of spray width decrease due to increase in regulation air volume. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Test voltage
- Electrostatic voltage applied during experiment. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Test voltage shaping factor
- Factor to control extent of spray width decrease due to increase in electrostatic voltage. Appears when Electrostatic rotating bell is selected as the Deposition type
- Film deposition
- Profile along X axis
- When selected, provides positions in the X direction where the film deposition was measured and indicates the paint deposition thickness at each position.
- Profile along Y axis
- When selected, provides positions in the Y direction where the film deposition was measured and indicates the paint deposition thickness at each position.
- Add values
- Adds a set of position-deposition values to the table.
- Delete values
- Removes a set of position-deposition values from the table.
