You can reconnect the System-Item scope on a system for which the item linked by the scope is not found. That is, not loaded
in the session or deleted.
Before you begin: You need to create new revisions of the objects, so you must start the session in
Administrator mode.
Open your product and Manufacturing Assembly structures.
There is a scope link between the root product and root Manufacturing Assembly.
Start your app.
Create a system structure as follows:
Create a root system.
Create a child system GeneralSystem.1 under the root system.
Create a system GeneralSystem.2 under
GeneralSystem.1.
Create a scope between GeneralSystem.1 and item P1.
Create an operationGeneralOperation.1 under GeneralSystem.2 and
link the operation to the item Provide.P1.
Save the modifications then close the session.
Explore the PPR Context.
Create a new revision of item P1 and a new revision of
GeneralSystem.1.
To do this, you must specify the maturity of the object to
Share and create a new major revision of the object (using the
Change Maturity and New Revision
commands).
In Manufactured Item Definition, replace P1 by the new revision P1 - - A using Replace > Replace by Revision.
In Process Planning, replace GeneralSystem.1 by the new revisionGeneralSystem.1
- - A using Replace > Replace by Revision.

Essentials panel.

Right-click GeneralSystem.1 - - A and click Manage
Scopes.
The Manage Scopes panel appears.
In the panel, select the line with Broken
status and select
Reconnect
.
