State Definition and State Preview

The State Definition B.I. reveals information about which attributes are stored in the state. State Preview demonstrates which attributes are stored.

State Definition

When the State Definition B.I. is selected, the following colors are applied to the objects in the tree and in the 3D area:

Color Signification Description


Position Objects that have only position stored in the state.


Graphical Attributes Objects that have only graphical attributes (such as color, visibility, or transparency) stored in the state.


Multiple Attributes Objects that have both position and graphical attributes stored in the state.


No Attributes Objects that are part of the state but have no overloaded attributes.


Not Managed Objects that are not part of the state.

State Preview

This mode shows the content of the state: position, color, transparency, and visibility are applied for the products or resources that are part of the state. The system ghosts the remaining objects. By using this mode, you can preview the objects stored in that particular state.
