Updating Drill-Rivet Robot Tasks

You can update a task with drill-rivet operations.

  1. From the Drill Fill section of the action bar, click Update Drill-Rivet Task .
    You are prompted to select a task.
  2. Select a task to update.
    The task is updated in the following manner:
    • If a manufacturing fastener is added to the pattern, a new Drill/Rivet action is added to the corresponding Drill/Rivet sequence or to the task.
    • If a manufacturing fastener is removed from the pattern, the corresponding Drill/Rivet action is removed from the corresponding Drill/Rivet sequence or from the task.
    • If the manufacturing pattern is removed, the corresponding Drill/Rivet sequence is removed from the task. Or, Drill/Rivet actions corresponding to all manufacturing fasteners in the pattern are removed from the task.
    • If the position of the manufacturing fastener changes, the Drill/Rivet operation pointing to the manufacturing fastener is automatically updated and Update Drill-Rivet Task is not required.
    • Tag target robot motions that are not linked to any tag are removed.
    • Approach/departure points in dress up tag groups associated to manufacturing fasteners are updated when the position/orientation of the corresponding manufacturing fastener is modified.
    • If there is no change to any manufacturing fastener or to the pattern, Update Drill-Rivet Task exits without updating the task.
