Creating a Spot Weld Time Table

You can create Fanuc-specific Spot Weld Time Tables and use them in spot welding simulations.

A spot weld time table contains attributes specific to welding time in Spot Simulation. Each entry in the table contains attributes for a Weld Condition number, Open Time, Hold Time and Close Time.

Spot Weld Time Tables are defined using Applicative Profile in the Device Builder app and used in Spot Welding simulations.

  1. In the Setup section of the action bar, click Applicative Profile.

    The Profile Management dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select Fanuc Spot Welding Table in the Profile Group Type list as shown above, and create one or more profile instances.

    The new profile(s) are displayed under the Fanuc Spot Welding Table applicative profile group.



    Each Fanuc Spot Welding Table profile contains following attributes:

    • You can edit the attribute values by double-clicking the profile in the tree.
    • You can delete a profile by selecting Delete in the context menu of the profile.
    • You can make a profile the active profile by selecting Set profile as Current in the context menu of the profile.

    Notes:
    • Fanuc Spot Welding Table profile is not supported for Air Gun tasks.
    • If a Fanuc Spot Welding Table profile is defined for a robot with a spot welding task, the Weld Delay specified in the spot profile (in the case of a Servo gun) is ignored, and the time specified in Weld time table is used for the simulation of the Spot operation.
    • If the Spot Task is created for a robot with Fanuc Spot Welding Table profile with Generate Spot Task, each spot operation is associated to the active Fanuc Spot Welding Table profile by default. You can associate a different weld time table profile using Teach.
