Invariants
The inputs of the posture prediction that not modify by this command.
Variants
The inputs of the posture prediction that can modify for an experiment. Example, the group size
for certain parameters, additional filters like reachability, postural score, collision
test, and others.
- Seat Ratio
- Activate the editor by clicking the mouse inside the floor geometry editor and then select the geometry. Only the plane selection is enable for selection of floor geometry.
- SW tilt ratio
- Activate the editor by clicking the mouse inside the pedal editor and then select the
geometry. The plane selection and surface selection enable for the selection.
- SW telescope ratio
- Activate the editor by clicking the mouse inside the telescope editor and then select the geometry.
- Additional Goals
- Additional goals serve as constraint for the group of results generated.
- Comfort
Postural score: Postural score uses to sort the results when
generate combination clicks. The position with the best postural score for comfort is
at the top of the generated
list.
Reachability
Pedal test: If defining a pedal
test for driver posture prediction. Then the results filter based on the distance
between the ball of foot and the pedal center. The lower this distance is the higher
it is in the listing. Color coding uses in the combinations panel related to this
field. Black: not defined, Red: Failed, Green: Success
Interactions: A manikin
assign with a human interaction this executes after running posture prediction. Then
the pedal test (if any) and then human interaction. The lower the distance error
higher is the ranking for the result.
Collision
test
If a roof of the car has been defined in the posture prediction
definition, then the test that fails is used to filter out the results.
A
combination of the filters applies then the filters apply in this order: Collision,
Pedal test, Interaction, and Postural score.
Combinations
- Combinations
- All various combinations generate from the inputs and display.
- Total number of combinations generated produces the group sizes of seat, tilt, and telescope
ratio.
Selecting a row the manikin places it at the predicted posture. Any posture
prediction not associated to manikin, a posture does not generate.
All the
postures generate do not persist. The postures are available only during the lifecycle
of the command. The end of the command all postures flush.
