This activates where to insert products or resources.
Click Existing Product or Resource.
In the Search window, type tooling_1 and click Search .
This displays the search results for tooling_1.
Expand the 3DSearch window.
Right-click on the arrow for your required tooling.
We selected tooling_1. The contextual window appears.
Click Open With and Open Advanced.
In the Open Advanced dialog box, select:
References - With expanded children
Representations - With all representations
Tip:
For accuracy follow these steps Open With and Open Advanced when you are opening every product.
Click OK.
The Open Progression window appears showing the status. When completed the tooling appears. Now we have to position the tooling.
Right-click the orientation Robot and select Edit.
The Parameters for Robot Manipulation dialog box appears.
Right-click the orientation Robot and select Snap Automatically to Selected Object.
Note:
Any product or resource in the can be moved using the
orientation robot by selecting it.
Click tooling_1 from the Manufacturing Cell tree.
Selecting the part from the Manufacturing Cell tree activates all parts of this tooling. Selecting from the 3D geometry window would select a sub-part of the tooling. The orientation Robot snaps to its coordinates.
Click and grab the orientation Robot and rotate the object.
For accuracy, in the dialog box type in the required coordinates, and click Apply.
Follow the procedures above and insert the Manufacturing Part.
Rotate accordingly.
Click Close when completed.
Right-click the orientation Robot and de-select Snap Automatically to Selected Object.
Grab and return the orientation Robot to the bottom corner.
