Creating a Tool Attachment Activity

This procedure describes how to add a tool attachment activity to a robot task.


Before you begin: Your scenario must contain a robot, a mounted weld gun (or gripper and part), and at least one robot task.
  1. Click Create Tool Attach Activity .
    The Tool Attach Activity dialog box appears.
  2. Select the mechanical port of the resource according to which the attached tools will move.
  3. Select the tool(s) to attach in the 3D viewer or Tree.

    Tools are populated in the Tools table as they are selected.
