If the
EXAMINE_EXPAND_ALL="ACTIVATED"
mode is activated, launching the Examine command
will always result in: - If the
EXAMINE_EXPAND_ALL="DEACTIVATED"
mode is activated, launching the Examine command
will always result in: - If the
EXAMINE_EXPAND_ALL="INTELLIGENT"
mode is activated, launching the Examine command
will behave depending on the application and window in which Examine is launched:
- If the current application is 3DLive Examine or the window is in In Place mode, then launching the Examine command will result in:
- expanding the whole of the selected object
- showing the CGRs of the terminal objects only (those of the root and intermediate Products are not shown).
- If the current application is not in 3DLive Examine or the window is not in In Place mode, then launching the Examine command will result in:
- expanding the selected object not being allowed
- showing the CGR of the selected object only.
If position matrices are not available in the MatrixOne server
(not CATIA files), the CGR displayed in Examine command will be that of the selected Part and not all CGRs that make up the Part.
The consequences are as follows:

The Hide/Show command is of no use (only one geometry).

Annotation, measure, section are still usable.

The DMU reviews created by the user cannot be saved. Nevertheless,
the user can collaborate and exchange the review with his or her collaborators.

FTA will only be available in Examine mode
if the Save level of details in cgr option in the General
section of the Option
window and the Save 3D annotation representations in cgr option
in the Applicative Data section of the Option
window were activated during CATIA Save.
