Filtering in Batch Mode

You can filter a product in a batch operation.

Notes:
  • See 3DEXPERIENCE Native Apps: Tools: Batches for more information.
  • If a memory error or a memory warning occurs, or if the input document is corrupted, the output product will be empty.


Before you begin:
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Utility .
    1. In the window that appears, double-click DataFilteringBatch.
  2. Optional: Edit the identification string that is proposed.
  3. Decide how to process the Product Structure:

    • Merge Product Structure is equivalent to Product Filtering & Merging, with the following options:
      • For the Product and representation options:
        • Create a 3D Part
        • Create a product with a sharable representation
        • Create a product with non sharable representation.
      • For the Representation options:
        • Merge all bodies of each representation in one body
        • Colors and attributes (None, Container, Overloaded faces)
        • Keep annotations, with a possible filter on capture names
        • Materials.
      • For the Sketch option:
        • Specifications of sketches
    • Keep Product Structure is equivalent to Product Filtering, with the following options:
      • For the Product and representation options
        • Keep attributes
        • Publications
      • For the Representation options
        • Colors and attributes (None, Container, Overloaded faces)
        • Layers and filters definition.
        • Keep annotations, with a possible filter on capture names
        • Selection sets
        • Keep 2D Layout for 3D Design data
        • Material.
      • For the Sketch option:
        • Specifications of sketches

  4. Click to access the dedicated search interface.

    Important: Appropriate licenses are required to access objects in the provider you are connected to.

  5. Define the report options:

    • Report directory
    • Report name
    • Suffix for object report.

  6. If necessary, set up licenses.
  7. Click Save to save the batch parameters in an xml file.

    They are saved in a temporary folder.

    The content of this XML file varies according to the batch you run since it contains the values you set for the parameters displayed in the batch interface. When saved, this file can be edited manually and used later on to run the batch directly without having to re-access the batch interface.

  8. Click Run to run the batch from the interface of the selected batch.
