LegendThis legend describes the symbols and colors used in the examples images.
Example 1: Single SelectionYou can select a single product and merge all its children. In the following structure, only the Preparation 2 is selected. After the merging process, all the children of the Preparation 2 are merged into a single representation.
Example 2: MultiselectionYou can select and merge several elements (products or representations). ProductsYou can select two products and merge them into a single product. The children of the products are also merged. In the following structure, two products (Preparation 2 and Preparation 5) are selected. Both products have the same parent (Preparation 1). After the merging process, the two products are merged into a single product. All the children of the products are also merged.
In the following structure, two products are selected (Preparation 3 and Preparation 6). In this case, they do not have the same parent (Preparation 2 and Preparation 5). Therefore, the products will be merged under their closest common parent, Preparation 1. After the merging process, the two selected products are removed from the structure and are replaced by a new single product. The representations (A and C) are also merged into a new representation.
Products and RepresentationsYou can select a product and a representation and merge them into a single product. In the following structure, a product and a representation are selected (Preparation 3 and Representation C). In this case, they do not have the same parent (Preparation 2 and Preparation 6). Therefore, the product and the representation will be merged under their closest common parent, Preparation 1. After the merging process, the product is removed from the structure and replaced by a new one. The selected representation is merged with the children of the Preparation 3.
