You can apply colors to a 3D Shape that represents a complex 3D Shape using the Painter. Two views are available, the color picker (displayed by default) or the sliders view to adjust RGB - HSV and HSL parameters.
Before you begin: The Experience Models Preparationapp must be open. A preparation process must have been previously run on a model.
Click Painter in the Data Preparation action bar.
The Painter palette is displayed.
Select an element in the model and select a color by clicking it.
Alternatively, you can display the Sliders view. To switch to the Sliders view, click the icon in the in the left-corner of the Painter palette.
The color is automatically applied to the selected support that can be either the entire model or a portion of the model.
Important:
By default, the changes made to graphic properties are not permanent, that is the color changes are applied in the current session only.
To specify that the applied color should be saved as the permanent color of
the model:
From the Product Edition section of the action bar, click Keep Modifications.
Click Yes in the message displayed.
Click Save.
The changes to the color become permanent. The
color you applied is
stored as the new nominal color of the selection (entire model or portion of the model).
