Executing the Preparation in Batch Mode

You can run a preparation in the background of your session—in batch mode.

Before you begin: Run the Experience Models Preparation app on a model that contains at least a representation.
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Utility .
    The Batch Monitor dialog box appears.
  2. Double-click CATLdbBatchForRepurposing in the Type column.
    The CATLdbBatchForRepurposing dialog box appears.
  3. Click Object Search .
    The Object Management dialog box appears.
  4. Select a product in the Object Management dialog box.
    The filtered objects are displayed in the CATLdbBatchForRepurposing dialog box.
  5. Click OK in the Object Management dialog box.

    Important: The batch is run on all objects that are listed in the table underObject Selection.

  6. Select the type of compression to apply under Level of simplification.
  7. Enter or browse to the directory where the file will be saved.
  8. Enter the name of the file report that will be created in the Report section.
  9. Click Run to execute the batch.
  10. Click Save to generate the file report.
  11. Click Cancel.
