Editing the Structure of the Model

You can move a product within the product structure of the prepared model to define new groups of products by using Drag and Drop. Let's regroup wheels and car doors under the root product.

  1. Regroup car parts you do not need on the main body platter (except wheels and car doors).
  2. Move up any wheel under the root by dragging and dropping it on the main platter. To do so:
    1. Double-click a wheel.
    2. Move the pointer on the main platter and release the mouse button.
    The wheel is now located under the root product.
  3. Repeat the operation for all wheels.
  4. Repeat the operation for the car doors.

Seven separate groups of parts are now available in the structure. The four wheels and the doors appear individually and are visible directly under the root of the model. All the remaining parts of the car model are grouped in a separate node.
