Using Advanced Duplicating

You can create a document based on an existing document or engineering document, giving greater control over the resulting duplicated folder structure. You can duplicate a engineering document from the search results or from the tree structure.

Before you begin: Select Enable references expand check box in Me > My Preferences > Options> Folder > General tab.
  1. To search for documents, type a search string in the Search box in the topbar and click Search .

    • Select Optimize reuse to apply the defined Business Logic for object reuse, PLMAuthoringDefaultPropagationScope. For more information, see Configuration and Development | 3DEXPERIENCE Open | Common Tools | Data Setup | Resource Sets | Business Logic Implementations | Operation Propagation (PLMAuthoringDefaultPropagationScope). (Note: This option is selected by default when you enter the command.)
