Performing Boolean Operations

Boolean Operations performs Boolean operations on two manifold meshes.

  1. Select a mesh as Mesh A, and another as Mesh B.

    The intersection of the meshes must result in one or several closed contours.

  2. Click the arrows to invert their orientation.
    Each arrow shows the side of the other mesh to keep.
    • Green: Outside orientation
    • Red: Inside orientation.
  3. Define the operation between Mesh A and Mesh B
    • Union (operation by default, both arrows are green):
    • Subtraction: one arrow is inverted (one arrow remains green, the other turns red):
    • Intersection: both arrows are inverted (both arrows turn red):
