Note: By default, self-intersection is not activated because it is the most time consuming check.
Perform several corrective actions without check in between. Check is only performed on request.
See if the displayed information is up-to-date or not.

Benefits: The productivity of Mesh Preparation is drastically improved.

Extract Large Cloud of Points

Extract Large Cloud of Points has been enhanced.

Selection modes have been added.
The result is now made of two features: Extract and Bounding Box.
A context menu lets you synchronize the Extract with the large cloud of points.

Benefits: You can now update the extract without creating a new part, and take advantage of the new capability to define the zone.

Support of Polyhedral Geometry

You can now apply commands on polyhedral objects, or use polyhedral geometry as inputs.

Benefits: The app is more efficient and robust.

Polyhedral Geometry in Digitized Shape Preparation

You can prepare (repair, enrich) external polyhedral data up to the required quality, then generate the corresponding 3DEXPERIENCE polyhedral objects.

Benefits: As the entry for external polyhedral data, Digitized Shape Preparation generates polyhedral objects used in other apps.

Commands from Digitized Shape Sculpting

Following the discontinuance of Digitized Shape Sculpting, some commands of this app are available in Digitized Shape Preparation.

Benefits: With the wide adoption of Polyhedral modeling by 3DEXPERIENCE apps, more productive capabilities (than the Digitized Shape Sculpting commands) are now offered. Only specific commands have been kept and made available in Digitized Shape Preparation.
