- From the Wireframe section of the action bar, click Scan on Cloud
 .
- Select a support (cloud of points or mesh).
This first pick selects the support and defines the first point of the scan. - Pick points on the support to create the scan.
- Undo and Redo are available for each pick.
- One single scan can be created over several supports.
- When the support is a mesh, selection priority is given to the vertices of the triangles, then
to their edges. This ensures that the point is created
respectively on a vertex or an edge, and eases the
creation of scans lying on the mesh.
- For an interactive display, press Ctrl wile moving the pointer on the support.
- Double-click to exit.
A Scan_on_Cloud.x
element is created.
