Tessellating

You can tessellate a surface and convert it into a polygonal mesh.

  1. From the Digitized Data section of the action bar, click Tessellate .
  2. Select the surfaces to tessellate.
  3. Modify the Sag value, that is the maximum distance between the geometry and the triangles.
  4. Select the Step check box to control the length of triangles.
  5. Click Apply to visualize the tessellation.

The tessellation feature (identified as Tessellation.xxx) is created.
