Requesting and Installing Your Licenses

This task shows you how to request and install your user licenses. Before you can deploy the 3DSpace server, you must obtain the required network-based named user licenses for your environment from Dassault Systemes. Once the required licenses are obtained, you must install them into the DS License Server.

The DS License Server is a prerequisite of the 3DSpace server and is responsible for installing and making your company's licenses available for use. For complete details on installing and configuring the DS License Server, see the DS License Server Installation and Configuration Guide.

When you purchased 3DSpace and any apps, you established the number of IFW and app licenses you needed. These are the numbers of licenses you can request. The number of IFW licenses needed is based on the total number of named users that will be accessing the system. An IFW license is required for each named user that will be accessing the system. The number of app licenses needed for each app your company has purchased is based on the total number of named users that will be accessing that app.

  1. Determine the address where your request should be sent. Requests for licenses must be submitted according to your customer status:

Send your request to enovia.matrixone.licensekeys@3ds.com if you are one of the following:

    • An existing customer.
    • A customer who has purchased Live Collaboration directly from Dassault Systèmes Enovia Corp.(formerly MatrixOne, Inc) and MatrixOne, subsidiaries.
    • A customer upgrading a previous version of Live Collaboration.

Send your request to the Dassault License Key Center in your geographical region according to the table below if you are:

    • A new customer to Dassault Systèmes apps and have NOT purchased this app directly from Dassault Systèmes Enovia Corp. (formerly MatrixOne, Inc) and MatrixOne, subsidiaries.
