You can use Knowledgeware from context menus in many simulation app dialog boxes, including:
In the dialog box for any feature that supports Knowledgeware, when you right-click a numeric field and select Add Formula , the Formula Editor dialog box is displayed. Note:
If you are working in
Physics Results, Add Formula
in the
Tools menu opens the Formulas: Result
Manager dialog box, listing available parameters and their values.
Visualization enhancements for results include parameters for legends, plots, and extrema.
Create a formula based on existing definitions or measurements in the model. Use the Dictionary list to view the commands for a specific data type or function. For example, a solution sensor contains data in a list; click List to view or select commands that work with list data. Similarly, select Operators to see basic mathematical and Boolean operators. Use the Members of and Members of All columns to further define your choices. The formula editor displays a field at the bottom that you can use to make incremental changes to the current value or enter a new value. For more information on the Formula Editor, see Knowledge Basics. Clicking OK in the Formula Editor dialog box adds the formula to your dialog box. At this point, the text field is read-only and the Add Formula icon has been added to the dialog box. To make further changes, click the Add Formula icon to reopen the Formula Editor. Right-click the Add Formula icon to display a context menu with options to edit, deactivate, or delete a formula. If you deactivate a formula, you can edit the field content or use the content menu to edit or activate the formula. The icon appears as inactive while the formula is deactivated. Deleting a formula removes it completely. |
