Analyzing a Curve by Porcupine Analysis

Curvature Analysis lets you create a visual representation of the point, tangent, and curvature continuity of curves by conducting porcupine analysis on them.

  1. Click More in the Porcupine Curvature dialog box.
  2. Select a curve in the work area.
  3. In the Type area, select the type of analysis as Curvature or Radius.
  4. Select Plane curves check box and enter the required tolerance.
  5. Define the amplitude characteristics of porcupine comb.
  6. Define the density characteristics of porcupine comb.
  7. Right-click on any tooth of the comb and select Keep this point.
  8. In the Diagram area, select Display diagram window .
