Creating Text

Text lets you create a text at any given position along the linear, circular, or non canonical elements.

  1. Locate the point to align the text by entering the coordinates in the H and V boxes of the Tools Palette.

Important: By default, the text is created along the horizontal direction, if the valid support curve is not defined.

  2. In the Text box, type your text.
  3. In the Font Type and Font Style lists, select the font and font style to apply on the text.
  4. Select the required options to define the horizontal and vertical alignment of the text.

    Notes:
    • The horizontal alignment options are dependent on the selection point on the curve.
    • The vertical alignment options are dependent on the support curve.

  5. Keep the default orientation of the text.

Note: You can click Indirect to change the orientation of the text with respect to the support geometry.

  6. In the Font Size, Spacing (in percentage), and Ratio (in percentage) boxes, enter the required values.
