- Select the required elements to be constrained.
- From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Constraints Defined in Dialog Box.
- The Constraint Definition dialog box
appears, indicating the types of constraints you can set between the
selected lines (selectable options).
- You can select multiple constraints.
- If constraints already exist, they are selected in the dialog box.
- Select the constraints to be applied on the selected elements.
Notes:
- When you select the curvilinear distance constraint on a periodic
curve, a green color arrow appears in the 3D area which defines the direction of the curvilinear distance
measurement. The concerned portion of the periodic curve is
highlighted by a dotted curve representation between both the
points.
- Click the arrow to reverse the direction of the curvilinear distance
measurement.
- Optional: Under Create Multiple Constraints, select the Target Element check box and select the required target element.
- The selected elements are constrained with respect to the target element.
- The available constraints in the dialog box may change based on the selected target element.
- Click OK.
The elements are constrained.
