Projecting 3D Silhouette Edges

You can create the silhouette edges to be used in the sketches as a geometry or the reference elements.

Before you begin: Create a 3D shape.

About Projecting 3D Silhouette Edges
  1. Select the elements to create the silhouette edges onto the plane.


  2. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Project 3D Silhouette Edges .

    The silhouette edges are created onto the sketch plane. These silhouette edges are yellow if they are associative with the 3D.



    Important:
    • You cannot move or modify the silhouette edges.
    • You cannot delete one trace of the silhouette edges independently from the other.
