Creating Infinite Lines

You can create an infinite line either horizontal or vertical, or passing through the two points, specified using SmartPick.

  1. From the Sketch section of the action bar, click Infinite Line .
    Three options appear in Tools Palette. The Horizontal Line is the default option. If you keep Horizontal Line active, as you move the pointer in the work area, a horizontal line automatically appears.
  2. Click to position the line.

    An infinite horizontal line is created.

  3. In the Tools Palette, select Vertical Line .
    As you move the pointer in the work area, a vertical line automatically appears.
  4. Click to position the line.
    An infinite vertical line is created.

  5. Select the Line Through Two Points option in the Tools Palette.
    The angle (A) box appears in the Tools Palette and can be edited at any time for defining the line.
  6. Click to position the start point and the end point of the infinite line to be created.
    An infinite line passing through the two points is created.
