Editing Spline Offsets

You can edit a spline offset by modifying the offset value in the OffsetCurve.x dialog box. If the offset constraint is applied, you can edit it by modifying the offset value in the Parameter Definition dialog box.

Edit an Offset Constraint

You can edit an offset constraint by modifying the offset value in the Parameter Definition dialog box.

  1. Double-click the offset constraint to change its value.


    The Parameter Definition dialog box appears.

  2. Enter the value you want to apply, for instance.
  3. Click OK.

    The constraint value has been modified. The constraint cannot be deleted.



Edit a Spline Offset

You can edit a spline offset by modifying the offset value in the Offset Definition dialog box.

  1. Double-click the spline offset.


    The OffsetCurve.x dialog box appears.

  2. Change the required parameters.

    The spline offset is associative to the original spline in the following ways:

    • when deleting the spline, the offset spline is displayed in red to show that there is an update error.
    • when adding control point to the original spline, the offset spline is automatically updated.
