Working on Support

You can select Work On Support selection state to use 3D grid associated with reference planes to create intersection, offset, and constraint elements.

Before you begin: View the 3D grid.
  1. Enter the Sketcher app with the required plane as support.
  2. Create the required sketch.
  3. From the App Options panel, under User Selection Filter, select Work On Support selection state .

    Selection of this option enables the usage of 3D grid associated with the reference planes in Sketcher.

  4. Select any line in the 3D grid.
    • The corresponding reference plane is highlighted.
    • A context toolbar appears.


  5. From the context toolbar, select the required command to create intersection , or offset elements with the 3D grid line.
  6. Create the required constraints on the sketch with respect to the selected line in the 3D grid.
