Derived Formats

The following table shows the available derived formats. .

You can generate the derived outputs for data from different CAD origins persisted in 3DEXPERIENCE. To enable the generation of these derived outputs, your Business Administrator must define the required conversion rules in the Derived Format Management parametrization console of the Collaborative Spaces Configuration Center dashboard. The following table shows the available derived formats.

  • You cannot generate derived outputs for PartSupply components.
  • The STEP derived format can be used for Exchange by downloading it. Also it is required an additional SXT license to generate this format. For example, STS role.
  • XCADPivot is an internal format, which does not require additional license to generate this format.
